MIHOFIT
We only collect information that is necessary to provide and improve the MIHOFIT service. No unnecessary personal data is collected or stored. The information we collect includes:
When you log in via Apple or Google, we receive a unique, non-identifiable ID (provided by Apple/Google) to create and authenticate your MIHOFIT account. We do NOT collect your full name, email address, or other personal details from Apple/Google unless you explicitly choose to share them (and such sharing is optional).
We use the collected information solely to deliver and optimize the MIHOFIT service, with no other commercial or marketing purposes:
We never use your information for targeted advertising, nor do we share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your workout data and Apple/Google login ID are stored on our encrypted cloud server, protected by industry-standard security measures (including AES-256 encryption, end-to-end encryption for data transmission, and advanced firewalls) to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or modification.
We retain your information only for as long as you use the App. If you delete your MIHOFIT account, all your workout data and account information will be permanently erased from our servers within 72 hours. Backup copies stored for disaster recovery purposes will be deleted within 30 days.
We do not store your information on third-party servers or platforms (e.g., social media, ad networks) unless required by law or necessary for core functionality (such as cloud infrastructure providers who are bound by strict data protection agreements).
Some workout data may be temporarily cached on your device to enable offline viewing of recent workouts. This local data is encrypted and will be deleted when you uninstall the App or clear the App's cache.
You have full control over your information, and we make it easy to exercise these rights:
View your workout history and account details directly within the App's "Profile" or "Workout History" section. You may also request a complete copy of your data by contacting us at contact@mihofit.com.
If workout data is incorrect (e.g., a misrecorded calorie count or distance), you can manually edit certain metrics within the App or contact us to request a review and correction.
Delete your MIHOFIT account via the App's "Settings > Account > Delete Account" — this will erase all your workout data and account information permanently. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Request a downloadable copy of your workout data in a standard format (CSV or JSON) by contacting us at contact@mihofit.com. We will provide this within 14 business days.
If you no longer want to share login data with Apple/Google, you can revoke access through your Apple ID (Settings > Apple ID > Password & Security > Apps Using Apple ID) or Google Account (Manage your Google Account > Security > Third-party apps with account access). Note that revoking access will prevent you from logging into the App.
To exercise any of these rights, or for questions about your data, contact us at contact@mihofit.com.
The App uses only trusted third-party services, solely for core functionality:
These services handle login authentication — we only receive the minimal ID needed to create your account (as described in Section 1). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies: Apple Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
Used to connect the App to your MIHOFIT elliptical machine — no data is shared with Bluetooth providers beyond what is necessary for the connection. All data transmission between your device and the elliptical machine is encrypted.
We use reputable cloud service providers to host our servers and databases. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing infrastructure services to us.
We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking tools that collect or share your personal information.
The MIHOFIT App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child without proper parental consent, we will take steps to delete that information immediately.
Your information may be transferred to and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. We ensure that any such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws and that your information receives an adequate level of protection wherever it is processed.
In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you within 72 hours of discovering the breach via email (if provided) or through an in-app notification. We will also inform relevant regulatory authorities as required by law.
We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or new features. When we do, we will:
Your continued use of the App after the update means you accept the revised policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you may delete your account as described in Section 4.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, we process your information based on the following legal grounds:
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, which will not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
